http://1945.melbourne/ This website is really cool - It is a "Google Maps" of Melbourne in 1945. The tree on our property isn't as old as it looks.
Just move to where you want to review, move in or out with the onscreen buttons or mouse wheel, then move the 1945 <--> slider left or right.

Some Seaford photos of yesteryear sent in by the daughter "of the guy who did the brick work on their fish and chip shop" in the photo at source below.

It is thought that the black and white pic is from the 1930’s.
