19th of May to 30th of May 2014

The Frankston City Council Natural Reserves Team shall be conducting a fox control program at the Seaford Wetlands and Downs Estate, commencing on the 19th of May and running till the 30th of May. Seaford Wetlands is an Internationally recognised RAMSAR site and home to many indigenous and migratory birds, as well as many other species of indigenous fauna. All of which are preyed upon by the introduced species’ the European Red Fox, which this program is targeting.

Areas of the reserves will be closed to all FCC staff, contractors and the general public. Gates shall be locked, entrances barricaded and signage erected to prevent interruptions to the program. A letter drop is to be conducted to all neighbouring residences prior to the control program commencing.

FCC Natural Reserves greatly appreciate everyone’s support with this program.

It would be great if you could please place a notice in the local papers, the FCC website, Facebook and any other sites council uses.

Thankyou very much for your time,

Regards,

Matt Tetteroo.
