Melbourne CBD: Proposed Amendment to Activities Local Law
Posted: Thu Apr 06, 2017 11:44 pm"Proposed Melbourne City Council by-laws to make it easier for police to move homeless people camping in the city are "harsh", a lawyer advocating for homeless people says.
The amendment would widen the definition of camping. Under the current law, a person must not camp in a public place in a vehicle, tent, caravan or any temporary form of accommodation."
