Frankston City Council and local services are hosting a community event for Homeless Persons Week 2016. It will include:
• A free barbeque
• Free dental care
• Health checks – including podiatry
• Free coats
• Freebies & giveaways

When: Thursday 4 August, 10am–12.30pm
Where: Community Support Frankston, 35 Beach Street, Frankston
Who: Everyone welcome, no bookings required

Message from Frankston Council:

Hi everybody, and welcome to Homeless Persons Week 2016!

Locally, everybody has been very busy getting organised for a great range of events. SalvoCare Eastern held a lunch event today, and Community Support Frankston have begun distributing free coats as part of the “Wall of Kindness” event.

We’re also looking forward to this Thursday’s event at Community Support Frankston, supported by the Frankston Homelessness Network. Thanks so much to everybody on the organising committee – a lot of work has gone in to organising a really great event, and I’m happy to let you know that there are so many services available at the event!

I encourage you to send clients down to CSF on Thursday from 10 – 12.30. The event will include:
- Showers
- Haircuts
- Manicures
- Dental
- Podiatry
- Health checks
- Hot beef rolls & salads
- Food giveaways
- Clothing giveaways
- Toiletries giveaways
- Other goodies to give away too!
