The Kananook Creek Ministerial Advisory Committee was formed in June, 2015 to improve the management of all matters related to the Creek to protect it from inappropriate development.
You are invited to a drop-in session to share your views about the future management arrangements for the Kananook Creek with the Ministerial Advisory Committee members and their consultants.

17 February REPORT:
- The main difficulty is that there is no coordinated overall management
- There have been specific problems which took some time to resolve
- There were mostly positive comments regarding the cleanliness of walking tracks
- Walking and bike tracks must be kept separate (no shared paths)
- The possible potential affects of the proposed removal of level crossings were also raised
- I made a somewhat frivolous suggestion that Kananook Creek Association should be the “Governing Body” - backed by legislation - with overall management responsibility of creek-related issues. They have greater longevity of interest and tenure than any politician or Govt employee - perhaps it's not frivolous after all?
