Scams around Frankston

Postby Noel Tudball » Tue May 02, 2017 11:17 pm

Yeah, yeah, we've all heard of many scams.
However, this comprehensive list is worthy of a quick review - forewarned and all that.

Utilities providers, builders & tradespeople, computer "assistance", bank fees, Facebook, etc.

Thanks to Community Support Frankston for this list - source: http://www.frankston.net/scams.htm

Contact Consumer Affairs through their website http://www.consumer.vic.gov.au or phone 1300 558 181 if you think a salesperson or telemarketer is breaking the law.
