New path at Seaford Community Centre

Postby Noel Tudball » Sun Feb 01, 2015 1:35 am

We want to thank FCC for the new path recently installed at the side of the Seaford Community Centre. Specifically, it was Councillor Rebekah Spelman who first received our request - and acted on it.

OK, so in the overall scheme of things it isn't the biggest thing to ever happen, but the people (especially those with walking frames) who used to traipse through the garden to get to their cars
really appreciate it.

Another (smaller this time) win for the SCC & FCC. Yes, we asked for it on behalf of residents and visitors and FCC listened.
Thank you Rebekah and FCC.

This nicely complements a subsequent footpath installed at our request near Woolworths, Seaford - http://www.seafordcc.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=403

I agree with you, Noel - it's only a small achievement (and inexpensive) but it will make a big difference! The fact that Cr. Spelman took this matter up is terrific; as is the fact that FCC listened to the request and had the works carried out promptly.
